Zutarsom-SR is a combination medicine containing Domperidone and Esomeprazole, used primarily to manage acid-related disorders of the stomach and digestive tract. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that helps improve the movement of food through the stomach and intestines. It acts on the upper digestive tract by enhancing gastrointestinal motility, thereby relieving symptoms such as bloating, nausea, and a feeling of fullness after meals. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme in the wall of the stomach that produces acid.
