XBEtel-CT
Description_Effects
XBEtel-CT is a combination medication used to effectively manage and control high blood pressure (hypertension). It typically contains Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone, two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems caused by prolonged hypertension. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the effects of a hormone that causes them to tighten. This helps blood flow more easily and reduces pressure on the arteries. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water pill) that helps the body remove excess salt and water through urine. This further decreases blood volume and helps lower blood pressure. XBEtel-CT is generally taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day. It helps maintain consistent blood pressure control when used regularly as prescribed. Patients may begin to notice improvements within a few days, but full benefits are typically seen with continued use. Common side effects may include dizziness, increased urination, muscle weakness, or electrolyte imbalance. It is important to stay well-hydrated and follow a low-sodium diet. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is recommended. Do not stop taking XBEtel-CT without consulting your doctor.
