VASIzitel-A
Description_Effects
VASIzitel-A is a combination medication containing Telmisartan and Amlodipine, both of which are commonly prescribed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). This dual therapy targets blood pressure through two complementary mechanisms, making it highly effective for patients who require more than one agent to achieve optimal control. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of a substance in the body (angiotensin II) that tightens blood vessels. By blocking this effect, Telmisartan helps relax and widen blood vessels, reducing blood pressure and making it easier for the heart to pump blood. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). It works by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the workload on the heart. It does so by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels, which causes them to relax and dilate. Together, Telmisartan and Amlodipine provide a powerful and synergistic effect in lowering blood pressure. This combination also helps reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke. VASIzitel-A should be taken regularly as prescribed, even if you feel well, to ensure consistent control of blood pressure and protect long-term heart health.
