TOCObix-GEL is a topical pain relief formulation designed to treat localized muscular and joint discomfort. It contains Etoricoxib (10 mg), a COX-2 selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce pain and inflammation at the site of application. Etoricoxib works by blocking prostaglandin production, which is responsible for inflammation and pain. It is especially beneficial in conditions such as osteoarthritis, back pain, muscle strains, and sports injuries. The gel also includes Methyl Salicylate (100 mg), a counter-irritant that produces a warming sensation when applied, helping to divert attention from deeper muscle pain. It improves blood circulation in the applied area and enhances drug penetration. Menthol (50 mg) provides a cooling effect that soothes irritated tissues and reduces muscle tightness. This cooling sensation is followed by a warming feeling that relaxes the muscles and joints. Linseed Oil (30 mg) acts as an anti-inflammatory and emollient, helping reduce swelling and improving the absorption of active ingredients into the skin. TOCObix-GEL is applied externally on clean, dry skin over the affected area. It offers fast, targeted relief without systemic side effects. However, it should not be applied to broken or irritated skin, and contact with eyes or mucous membranes should be avoided.
