TEEpride-25 Inj contains Levosulpiride 25 mg in injectable form. It is an atypical antipsychotic and prokinetic agent used for a variety of gastrointestinal and psychiatric conditions. Levosulpiride acts by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in both the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. In the digestive system, this action enhances the release of acetylcholine, improving gut motility and helping to treat conditions like indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and frequent heartburn. It also relieves nausea, bloating, and gastric discomfort by speeding up gastric emptying and reducing reflux.
