Starita-200
Description_Effects
Starita-200 contains Itraconazole 200mg, a broad-spectrum antifungal medication used to treat various fungal infections affecting the skin, nails, mouth, throat, lungs, and other internal organs. Itraconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell membrane becomes unstable and leaky, leading to the death of the fungus and resolution of the infection. Starita-200 is effective in treating conditions such as tinea (ringworm), candidiasis, onychomycosis (fungal nail infections), aspergillosis, histoplasmosis, and blastomycosis, among others. It may also be prescribed for systemic fungal infections in immunocompromised patients or those with chronic lung disease. The capsule is typically taken once or twice daily, after food, to enhance absorption. Duration of therapy varies depending on the type and severity of the infection. It is important to complete the full course even if symptoms improve early, to prevent relapse or resistance.
