Starest-Plus
Description_Effects
Starest-Plus is a combination medication used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, flu, and upper respiratory tract infections. Each tablet contains Paracetamol 325 mg, Phenylephrine 5 mg, Caffeine 30 mg, and Diphenhydramine 25 mg. This multi-ingredient formulation targets multiple symptoms simultaneously, offering fast and broad-spectrum relief. Paracetamol works as an antipyretic and analgesic, helping reduce fever and alleviate headaches, body aches, and general discomfort. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that narrows the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that relieves symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itchy throat. It also has a mild sedative effect, helping patients rest better. Caffeine acts as a stimulant that reduces drowsiness caused by diphenhydramine and also enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol. Starest-Plus is generally prescribed for adults and children over the age recommended by a physician. It should be taken with or without food, but always as per medical advice. Common side effects may include dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, drowsiness, or trouble sleeping. Patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, or liver issues should use this medicine with caution. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives during use to prevent excessive drowsiness.
