Sanicaid-OM Syrup is a combination medicine used to relieve symptoms of acidity, bloating, gas, and stomach discomfort. Each dose contains Magaldrate 540 mg, Simethicone (equivalent to 50 mg), and Oxetacaine 10 mg, working together to provide fast and effective relief from various gastrointestinal problems. Magaldrate acts as an antacid that neutralizes excess stomach acid, reducing acidity and the burning sensation associated with conditions like gastritis, hyperacidity, and acid reflux. Simethicone is an anti-foaming agent that helps in breaking up gas bubbles in the gut, making it easier to release gas and reducing bloating and abdominal pressure. Oxetacaine, a local anesthetic, provides a soothing effect by numbing the lining of the stomach and esophagus, giving quick pain relief from ulcers and irritation caused by acid.
