Qtarket
Description_Effects
Qtarket contains Ketoconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal medication primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the cell membrane becomes weakened, leading to leakage of cell contents and ultimately the death of the fungal cell. Qtarket is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts (such as Candida), and other fungi responsible for conditions like ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), seborrheic dermatitis, and fungal dandruff. The formulation is commonly used in topical form (cream or shampoo), depending on the type and location of the infection. Regular application as directed by a healthcare professional helps relieve symptoms like itching, redness, flaking, and irritation while promoting the healing of the infected area. It is important to continue using the medication for the full duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve earlier, to ensure complete eradication of the fungus and prevent recurrence. Qtarket should be applied to clean, dry skin. Contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes should be avoided. If irritation, rash, or hypersensitivity occurs, use should be discontinued, and medical advice should be sought.
