Oftrax-200
Description_Effects
Oftrax-200 contains Ofloxacin 200mg, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics and works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, thereby stopping the growth and multiplication of the bacteria responsible for the infection. Oftrax-200 is effective against infections of the respiratory tract (such as bronchitis and pneumonia), urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin and soft tissue infections, gastrointestinal infections like traveler’s diarrhea, and certain sexually transmitted diseases. By targeting both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, it helps ensure rapid symptom relief and recovery. The medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor—preferably on an empty stomach for best absorption. It is important not to skip doses and to complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve early. Stopping early can allow the bacteria to survive and become resistant to the antibiotic. Possible side effects include nausea, headache, dizziness, or upset stomach. Avoid excessive sunlight or UV exposure while on this medication, as Ofloxacin may increase sensitivity to light. Let your doctor know if you are taking antacids, multivitamins, or other medicines, as they can interfere with absorption.
