Jepratoin-100 contains Nitrofurantoin 100 mg, an antibiotic specifically used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Nitrofurantoin works by interfering with the bacterial cell functions, preventing the bacteria from growing and multiplying. This leads to the elimination of the infection. Jepratoin-100 is especially useful in treating uncomplicated UTIs, such as cystitis (bladder infection), particularly in women.
