IFYtrofin-250
Description_Effects
IFYtrofin-250 contains Terbinafine 250 mg, a powerful antifungal medication used to treat a wide range of fungal infections of the skin, hair, and nails. It is especially effective in treating conditions such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and fungal nail infections (onychomycosis). Terbinafine works by inhibiting an enzyme (squalene epoxidase) that fungi need to build their cell membranes. This leads to a deficiency in essential cell membrane components, ultimately causing the death of the fungal cells and stopping the spread of infection. The effectiveness of IFYtrofin-250 depends on consistent usage over the entire prescribed course. Incomplete treatment may allow the fungus to return, possibly with increased resistance. Depending on the site and severity of the infection, treatment may last a few weeks to several months—especially for nail infections. This medicine is usually well tolerated. However, some people may experience headache, stomach upset, taste disturbances, or skin reactions. Rarely, it may affect liver function, so routine liver function tests may be advised during long-term use. Always take IFYtrofin-250 as directed by your doctor. Avoid alcohol and inform your physician if you have any pre-existing liver conditions before starting therapy.
