IFYCLOTIN-2-MIU
Description_Effects
IFYCLOTIN-2-MIU contains Colistimethate Sodium 2,000,000 I.U., a potent antibiotic injection used to treat severe and potentially life-threatening bacterial infections, especially those caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria. It is commonly used in hospital settings for critically ill patients suffering from infections such as pneumonia (including ventilator-associated pneumonia), urinary tract infections, bloodstream infections, abdominal infections, and meningitis caused by resistant pathogens. Colistin works by damaging the bacterial cell membrane, ultimately leading to bacterial death. IFYCLOTIN-2-MIU is especially effective against difficult-to-treat bacteria like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Due to its strong action and potential side effects, it is administered only by a trained doctor or nurse via injection, usually in a hospital or ICU setting. Patients often begin to feel better shortly after starting treatment. However, it is essential to complete the full prescribed course to ensure the infection is fully treated and to prevent antibiotic resistance. Because of the risk of nephrotoxicity (kidney damage) and neurotoxicity (nerve damage), the use of IFYCLOTIN-2-MIU requires close medical supervision and regular monitoring, especially in patients with pre-existing kidney problems. When used appropriately, it is a life-saving medication for serious bacterial infections resistant to standard antibiotics.
