Amstar-Clav-625
Description_Effects
Amstar-Clav 625 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic tablet that combines Amoxycillin (500mg) and Clavulanic Acid (125mg) to effectively treat a variety of bacterial infections. This combination works by targeting and killing the bacteria responsible for infections in the ear, sinuses, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, teeth, joints, and bones. Amoxycillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that interferes with the formation of bacterial cell walls, stopping their growth. However, certain bacteria can resist amoxycillin by producing an enzyme called beta-lactamase. To overcome this resistance, Clavulanic Acid is added to the formulation. It works by inhibiting beta-lactamase, thereby enhancing the efficacy of Amoxycillin against resistant bacterial strains. Amstar-Clav 625 generally starts showing results within a few days, helping reduce infection-related symptoms such as fever, pain, swelling, or inflammation. It is essential to complete the entire course as prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms improve earlier. Stopping the medication prematurely may result in the return of the infection or contribute to antibiotic resistance. The tablet is typically well tolerated, though some users may experience mild side effects like nausea, diarrhea, or skin rashes. It is best taken with food to minimize stomach upset.
