AFYmox-DT
Description_Effects
AFYmox-DT is a dispersible antibiotic tablet containing Amoxicillin, a widely used penicillin-class antibiotic. It is formulated for easy administration, especially in children or patients who have difficulty swallowing regular tablets. AFYmox-DT is used to treat a broad range of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. This medicine is effective against infections of the ears (otitis media), nose and throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and dental infections. Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of bacteria. The dispersible tablet can be dissolved in a small amount of water for easy intake, making it ideal for pediatric and geriatric use. Dosage is determined by the severity of the infection and the patient’s age and weight, and it should be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor. Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, or skin rash. Serious allergic reactions are rare but can occur in individuals sensitive to penicillin. AFYmox-DT should not be used for viral infections and must be taken for the full prescribed duration to prevent bacterial resistance.
