TOCObrox-LS is a combination cough syrup that contains Levosalbutamol Sulphate (1 mg), Ambroxol Hydrochloride (30 mg), Guaiphenesin (50 mg), and Menthol (2.5 mg) per 5 ml. It is formulated to effectively relieve productive cough (cough with mucus), commonly seen in respiratory infections such as bronchitis, asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening them, making breathing easier. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that breaks down and thins the mucus, making it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen mucus in the airways, clearing congestion. Menthol provides a cooling and soothing effect in the throat, helping reduce irritation and coughing. This combination works synergistically to clear mucus, ease breathing, and reduce coughing episodes, improving overall respiratory function and comfort. It is especially helpful during seasonal changes and respiratory infections that involve mucus buildup. TOCObrox-LS should be taken as directed by the physician.
