PENItra-100 contains Itraconazole 100 mg, a powerful antifungal medicine used to treat a variety of fungal infections affecting the skin, nails, mouth, throat, and internal organs. Itraconazole belongs to the class of triazole antifungals and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting the integrity of the fungal cell wall, it kills the fungi and stops their growth, effectively clearing the infection.
